Rostrato Vase in Massive Murano Glass

Rostered vases are well known and typical of Murano glassmaking. The making technique is of medium difficulty and the end result is of a remarkable effect. The vase was originally created as a submerged vase, only to be pinched at the end of firing, when the glass is still very hot, with pliers that create the typical jagged vase shape.
